Saco Stripes Pattern

 

An easy shape lends itself to easy stripes and endless stripe variations. Sparrow by Quince and Co. is the perfect linen yarn for an A-line shape; it drapes nicely, and is very fluid and swingy. The tank is knitted flat in two pieces. Shoulders and side edges are seamed. Armhole and neck edge are finished with a one round edging.

 

Finished Measurements:
30½ (34, 37½, 41, 44½, 48, 51½, 55)" bust circumference; shown in size 30½" with 3½" negative ease

Yarn:
3 (4, 4, 5, 5, 5, 6, 6) skeins in Sans and 1 skein in Pigeon of Sparrow by Quince & Co. (100% organic linen)
or 672 - 1176 yards of fingering weight yarn

Needles:
pair of US 3 / 3.25 mm
US 2 / 2.75 mm, 24" circular

Gauge:
23 stitches and 30 rows = 4" in stockinette stitch
