Le Gros Lambswool - Biches & Bûches

 

This is a pure lambswool from a family-owned fiber mill in Scotland. The wool is rustic and soft at the same time, in different shades, the thread is thin and sturdy, and the wool is fully scoured.

This yarn is a wool-lover's dream! This yarn varies from a heavy worsted to an aran depending on your tension, so we definitely recommend swatching before starting your project.

What is lambswool? It is actually the first shearing of a sheep, considered high-grade of wool. The difference between Le Petit Lambswool and Le Gros Lambswool? The thickness of the thread, and therefore also the length. Otherwise it is the same quality, spun for thicker sweaters and projects!
